Sweepstake Mistake TG (short)

“Well, this is what happens when you're an idiot, son.” Tommy’s father said, lounging in his beach chair.

Tommy grimaced and pulled on his skin tight one piece. It was his fault, he thought. Tommy had entered a beach getaway sweepstakes, and when he got a letter saying that he won, he was jumping around with glee. He won a four day, three night stay at a fancy beach resort in California, with him and his family. But then he read the note carefully. It said “Dear Tammy” at the top. He thought it was a typo, but when he looked at his submission form, he saw that not only did his signature Tommy look like a Tammy, but for gender, the “Female” box was checked! Tommy wasn’t sure how it happened, but he was shown to be a girl! His thirteen year old younger sister Rachel laughed her head off, but his parents called him an idiot, because if they came out that he was a boy, then they could not only lose the prize, but on the rules of entry, “Lying about age, gender, or identity will result in a lawsuit for $500-$50,000”. Tommy’s family didn’t have that money to spare, so they came with the conclusion that Tommy would have to be a girl on their stay. Despite his protests, they decided that they must try. 

His mom went shopping for him and got him two weeks worth of clothes, and told him that if they’re going to do this, then he will need to practice being “Tammy” for a while. They went to a store where they could buy fake breasts, and the lady at the counter said that if they were to use them in water, then they would have to use a long lasting glue, which will last three months. Tommy was sure that his mom would refuse, but much to his surprise, she didn’t even blink! They placed them on, and Tommy was leaning forward with the added weight. He was asked by his mom, if she wanted to teach him how to use makeup, and Tommy refused. So she took him to a salon, and gave him hair extensions, and put makeup on him. “That stuff will not come off for at least a couple of weeks, not even if you wash it, so at least you won’t have to learn how to put it on yourself!” his mom said cheerfully. He was shocked. Then came the question on how to hide his package. But that was solved already! “Oh as soon as we agreed on turning you into a girl, we have been putting estrogen in your food, so by the time you get to California, your wiener will be as small as a baby's pinky toe!”

Now, here he was in California, and if he was having a good time it might all be worth it. But he couldn’t stand up straight on a surfboard due to his newly required boobs, he was afraid of heights, so parasailing was out of the question, and all of his blond hair kept getting stuck to him when he got in the water, so he just had to relax on the beach, wearing a one piece swim suit. Some guys even asked him to come back to their hotel room, until his dad gave them the death glare. He still had three days to go. He sighed and went over by his sister Rachel to build a sand castle.

As they were building it, Rachel was thinking how funny this all was! Her brother had always made fun of her, and now she has a sister! And all she had to do was change the gender box on his submission. She didn’t think that he’d win, but she was sure glad that he did! She even overheard her mom and dad talking that because of his form, they might have to send him to their catholic school as a girl! Rachel smiled. Best Vacation Ever!
